Event/Meeting Room Booking Software Systems

Just wanted to thank all of you for reading my director's mind - I just got
tasked with answering this very question. I've noted all the suggestions so
far in the thread, and look forward to checking them out, but I just wanted
to bump this conversation back up to the top and ask if anyone out there
has other products not yet mentioned that they really like for room
reservations?

In particular we're very interested in developing a system that is as
un-mediated by staff / self serve as possible.
