We're looking for new, tech savvy librarians!

The Web Services Fellowship is a one-year fellowship that offers a recent graduate the opportunity to work in a technologically advanced research library on diverse web projects. This position will work collaboratively with the Web Services Coordinator and key stakeholders to further goals of the Web Services Department in streamlining and integrating web-based access to library resources and services in support of the teaching, research, and the learning needs of the University of Houston community as well as providing innovative resources and tools to librarians and library staff.  The Fellow will have opportunities to assist in project management, technology training, web content management, usability testing, multimedia production, and web development.  The position requires creativity, innovation, a service-oriented vision, and the ability to work well with others in a team-based environment.  The position reports to the Head of Web Services.

This is a one-year term appointment, with the potential for a one-year renewal.  Candidates for this position must be available to begin work no later than Monday, August 27, 2012.
