WIKI software

[Shafer, Philip]

We use OpenAtrium (http://openatrium.com/).  We tried Wikis in the past and they just didn't work out.  OpenAtrium is a drupal deployment that is easy to customize and built for team/community communication.

We have been using it in our library since July and it has been a huge success.  Our staff participation on the intranet has increased dramatically.

I am a little on the fence with wiki's, even though I have used MediaWiki in the past. I have started to learn more towards content or document management systems. If you want to manage minimal resources I would even suggest Wordpress. You can easily install this software internally and tag/categorize your posts for future use.
