Assistant Systems Librarian

The Library of JTS is seeking an assistant systems librarian to manage 
digitization projects in the Library including electronic reserves, 
distance learning and digitization of library materials. The assistant 
systems librarian will be responsible for all computer upgrades, 
coordination with the Library webmaster, assisting systems librarian in day 
to day operations of the ExLibris/ALEPH500 system, researching and 
implementing new technologies for the Library and supervision of clerical 
staff. Qualified candidate has knowledge of integrated library systems 
preferably ExLibris/ALEPH500 and general computer application such as UNIX, 
SQL, HTML, XML. Candidate will have a MLS from accredited library school 
with emphasis on computer technology and/or an MS in computer science with 
emphasis on library applications. Reading knowledge of Hebrew needed and 
knowledge of the ExLibris/ALEPH500 system a plus. We offer an excellent
