Job announcement: Electronic/Information Services Coordinator

The Ferguson Library, Stamford CT's Public Library, is seeking a
Electronic/Information Services Coordinator. 

Newly created position to supervise, plan and coordinate print and
non-print adult reference resources, electronic multimedia resources,
services and programs throughout the Library system.   

Make recommendations to the Director of MIS regarding planning, policies,
procedures for public electronic resources and products, website
presentation and website enhancements. Supervise the Information Services
team.  Responsible for managing departmental staff consisting of seven
full-time reference librarians, including training and evaluation.  Develop
policies and strategies to improve library reference service.  Other duties
include managing public training on Internet and other multimedia
resources.   

Salary Range: $49,986-$55,046. 4 weeks vacation, generous holiday, full
medical and dental benefits.   

Must have MLS, 2 years supervisory experience, knowledge of HTML,
electronic delivery of information, online databases, library automative
systems, windows, general knowledge of LAN/Client Server Concepts.
