I don't know about milk in the back but one thing I do believe is that 
stores including barnes & noble know how to stock the FRONT of the stores 
so that while you are waiting in those wonderful lines at the counters 
you have no choice but to glance at what is sitting in front of you - 
grocery stores especially are pretty clever at the "impulse buying" 
trick.  Loading the counter with candy and magazines doesn't give one 
much time to change his/her mind before purchasing.
