     The Mary Couts Burnett Library at TCU has re-opened a search for a
 Computer Support Librarian. This entry-level position is responsible
 for: Designing and maintaining the library Web site and Intranet;
 managing a 45-station computer lab; training and assisting staff; and
 four hours per week at the Reference desk.  Lab management includes
 supervision of a full-time assistant and 10-15 part-time student
 workers.

     Requirements:  ALA-accredited MLS/MLIS; HTML proficiency; technical
 problem solving skills; strong  communications skills; ability to work
 independently to acquire new skills as needed.  Previous experience
 with computer networks; relational database design; academic libraries;
 and preparing training materials desirable. Preference given to
 applications received before 5/15/1999.  Starting salary, $28,000 -
