Glendale Community College, one of the Maricopa Community Colleges, is

Serves as library faculty responsible for library technologies and technology 
support.  Participates in bibliographic instructional systems program.  Library 
experience with a broad understanding of library operations and information 
resources systems (LAN, OPAC); systems management/analysis, computer 
programming, database management or LAN management; customer services 
orientation; ongoing involvement in continuing education and professional 
development.  Experience/knowledge of Novell Netware or other networking 
systems (Novell Netware preferred).

Master's Degree in Library Science from a library school accredited by the 
American Library Association including fifteen (15) semester or 23 quarter 
hours of graduate level courses which would provide background knowledge and 
skill training in several of the following general areas of standard library 
school curricula: Adult Public Services Libraries; Advanced Bibliography; 
Literature of Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, or Business; library 
Automation; Academic and Research Librarianship;Advanced Reference; Collection 
Development; Bibliographic Instruction; On-Line Data Base Searching; Library 
Organization in Administration.
