Apologies in advance if this is a naive question, as my background is that
of a reference librarian rather than a technical specialist.
I have recently started work in an organisation where only a few people at
present have individual access to the WWW, via Netscape. In the library,
the section where I work, I am the only person to have Netscape installed
on my PC, although there is shared access through another PC. I understand
there is much resistance in certain sections to increasing the access to
Netscape, at least some of which is for technical reasons. However, we all
use Lotus Notes 4.5 and hence have potential access to the Web via
InterNotes Navigator.
I would like to argue the case for increasing WWW access throughout the
organisation, especially the library, but am unsure which option, Netscape
or InterNotes Navigator, to push for at the moment. Can anyone on the list
help me with a comparison between the two browsers. I would appreciate any
help you can give me.
