redirecting Win95 printing to files and prompting for id

     I hope this is not too far off topic -- like some of the security concerns
under Windows 95, it seems to primarily be a problem for libraries.
     Does anyone know of any tools that would make it possible to replace the
standard Windows 95 print-to-file dialog with my own code? Specifically, I
want to:
          * Prompt for file name     {like it does now}
          * Prompt for patron id number
          * Store the print info under file name {like it does now}
          * Store the id number in a file with the same name, but
            a different extension

I've been looking at the Win95 version of Delphi, but it seems to assume that
everything is encapusalted in a Delpha application; I want to modify the
behavior of the print-to-file dialog for the default printer regardless of
which application is doing the printing.

                              Thanks,
                                   Kerry Bouchard, Automated Systems Mgr.
