Online NW98 announcement

The following is ONLINE NORTHWEST 98 Conference information.

Online Northwest is sponsored by the Interinstitutional Library 
Council of the Oregon State System of Higher Education.

The Online Northwest 98 conference will be held Feruary 6, 1998 at 
the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel.  Over 5,000 Online Northwest 98 
conference registration brochures were recently mailed to Northwest 
and Alaska librarians and information professionals.  If you do not 
receive a brochure by December 26th, you can find program and 
registration information at:

Please note that registration is NOT available online at that Web 
site.  The deadline for registration at $80 is January 12, 1998.  
After that date, the cost is $100.

Hotel information:

   The Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel is offering a special 
conference rate of $87 single or $97 double occupancy, per room, per 
night plus room tax.  To receive this conference rate, your 
reservation needs to be placed by January 6, 1998.  Be sure to 
identify yourself as attending Online Northwest.  Contact the 
Sheraton at 1-800-325-3535 or (503) 281-2500.  Reservations received 
after the cut-off date will be subject to availability.
