HTML 4.0, doctype

Any thoughts on which doctype declaration we should be using now?

I'm doing some pages with style sheets and have been using,

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML Experimental 970421//EN">

Does the 4.0 spec. change this? Should I be begin using,

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"
            "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd">

on my pages that incorporate style sheets?

Suggestions? Recommendations?
