Yes! Have been playing with it for a few months. And, yes, to the
Z39.5. But, I won't be putting any major effort into that until January.
It's a nice toy at the moment, but ..., later?

and it's name is Java. After attending "Java Day" at Sun Microsystems 
last week, and seeing what folks are doing with this programming language 
for the Web, I am certain that it will transform our use of the Web.

As a Web manager, I will be trying to establish local expertise in the 
language so I can expand our level of service to our clientele in new and 
interesting ways. If you want more information about Java, go to 
http://java.sun.com/.

I would like to know if others are using Java or plan to use it, and for 
what purpose. In particulary, I am wondering if anyone is coding a Z39.50 
client in Java. Thanks,
