Dear Colleagues,
The Douglas County Libraries is looking to replace Syndetics with another
OPAC content enrichment service, and we are interested to know what
experiences other libraries, particularly public libraries, have had with
different vendors. I know that Content Café and ChiliFresh are two other
widely-used content enrichment vendors, but we are also looking at
implementing something open source, particularly Google Books. I have
created a brief, unstructured survey where you can share your experiences
using any or all of these services – any feedback would be welcome. The
survey should take 10-15 minutes to complete and can be accessed at
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ContentEnrichmentSurvey
Thank you for your feedback, and if you have any additional questions or
suggestions please feel free to contact me off-list.
