library website content management system layer and SharePoint

SharePoint is a good document management system. It doesn't do well as a
CMS. I used it in a previous job in Alaska and it was not a good experience.

Joomla, along with Drupal and WordPress, are popular CMS tools and are
widely used in libraries. Joomla has a way to connect with SharePoint. I
don't have any experience with this tool, but it looks promising.
