Digital Library Cards

There is an app called Key Ring that I have downloaded for my Android phone.
I know that Stratford Public Library, Stratford, ON has encouraged their
patrons to use it. It can hold all of your store points cards, etc.
Although I have downloaded it, I'm not sure I will keep it on my phone. As
with many other apps, it was requesting a lot of permissions. I'm not sure,
as a library, we would want to encourage people to use it for that reason.

Subject: [WEB4LIB] Digital Library Cards
At the Library Board Meeting one of our members suggested we look into
digital library cards, instead of having an actual card, patrons if they
choose could have something on their phone.
