Here's an opportunity for the seriously creative. The Instructional
Technology Specialist supports faculty by creatively using technology to
meet their student learning goals. Assisting faculty with the pedagogical
underpinnings and skill acquisition for using technology for online
content, activities, and face to face classroom instruction, the
Instructional Technology Specialist will work with minimal supervision to
consult and train faculty, as well as to determine and resolve problems,
and provide learning management, e-portfolio and student response system
support.

The preferred candidates will have:

   - Master's degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design or a
   related field, plus two to three years relevant experience; or ALA
   accredited MLS degree plus three to five years relevant experience in
   instructional design/technology.
   - Demonstrated experience with administering, supporting, and training
   of content delivery systems and e-portfolios (ie: Blackboard, Moodle,
   Mahara, etc.).
   - Working knowledge of PCs (Windows OS) and Macs (OS 10.x).
   - Demonstrated experience in developing technical training, workshops,
   seminars, and classes for faculty on the use of technology to enhance
   learning.
