Off-Topic: Marking e-readers for circulation

We're going to be an Early Adopter in the new 3M Cloud Library. The
e-readers are old PocketBook 602s, and we'll be circulating about 100 of
them. They look too flimsy to take an engraving, but we'll still be talking
to our police department about that. They are selling for $149 apiece, but
we got a bulk purchase deal with our opening contract. We haven't tackled
the replacements/upgrades issue. It will depend on what 3M offers. We're
also looking for cases in which to circulate the readers. Any and all ideas
are welcome!
