[Web4lib] [Publib] Kindles and Androids and Nooks (oh my!)

Degree'ed in '78, I have seen a lot of water has flowed under the bridge. And I
have seen a lot traffic using that bridge to span the gap between the public and
the information they sought. Now I don't see that bridge disappearing, but I see
that it will need to be transformed to accommodate a broader spectrum of traffic.

The institution that we have committed to serve will remain. But we need to
mount a campaign to change the profession before society does it for us.
