[Web4lib] wordpress hosting for academic libraries

I am in the early stages of looking into hosting for new versions of a
couple of sites that support my academic library. Wordpress.org lists
Bluehost, Dreamhost, MediaTemple, and Laughing Squid. I was wondering if
anyone has any experience working with any of those hosts or any other
hosts.

Yes, I know I can search in any search engine, but we are in an era of data
overload, where it is very difficult to tell whether complaints or praise of
any host is an actual issue or just part of a spambot war. I am hoping that
people on the list may have actual experience with hosts that might lead me
towards some over others.

I am far more concerned with support and uptime than price. A more expensive
option with greater uptime and more knowledgeable support staff is much more
tempting for us. Yes, I can build and run my own servers, but I am not
certain that anyone in my position in the future will be able to and I would
rather have a hosted solution with a company with full time sys admins, so I
can devote most of my time to working on new projects instead of maintaining
the server.
