Web 2.0 Experiences

We use both Facebook and Twitter at my library. We field questions on
our Facebook pages (we have one for general use, one for teens - they
both get questions posted on the wall fairly regularly) and we have,
in total, almost 700 people who get our updates in their Facebook
timelines every day. That's worth something, right there. As for
Twitter, the engagement isn't as broad, but I also monitor Twitter for
our name and have helped several patrons who have had problems at the
library because I was listening. They are, for us, marketing tools as
much as anything else - and they work for very little extra effort.
