[Web4lib] Administrivia: How to get your announcement posted

Every now and then as list manager I review the queue of messages that were
not posted to the Web4Lib list. Almost universally they tend to be
announcements of conferences and such, and they fail almost universally for
one of two reasons:

1. The poster posts simultaneously to many lists, with every list address
reflected in the ³To² field.
2. The poster is using a blind carbon copy to post to many lists but not
display to which lists the message is being sent.

Both of these techniques will block your post. The lesson? Post your
announcement to each list separately. It¹s amazing what you can do with copy
and paste these days.
