[Web4lib] Google Book Search and interlibrary loan practice?

I agree with Robert's question/ point--Google books in pdf are great for
lookups or chapter reading,
but are users actually satisfied with a 200-page or longer pdf when they
request a book?

I have enjoyed reading a full novel on the newer version of the Kindle,
but still
tend the think most library users don't have a Kindle and those that do
would rather
not pay Amazon to convert a pdf file.
