[Web4lib] Anyone Using Google Wave?

I recently did a course redesign project with 2 other people in other
states. We used Google Wave for all our communication. It was the first time
any of us had used it for a project. It was fantastic for us. We were able
to attach documents, have synchronous and asynchronous communication and
incorporate our Google Docs. I am not sure of other ways to use it but if
you are working with folks at a distance it is great. There was no aversion
to trying it, but we are Instructional Design and Technology Graduate
students, I have not tried it with other Librarians.

I have a couple of tips for you, it runs way way faster in Google Chrome and
start a new wave when you get over 250 or so entries, it keeps everything
cleaner. We liked it so much we started a second project using it again. I
might add I am not a fan of group projects, but this was the absolute best
team experience I have ever had and I wonder if the Wave contributed to
that. Our communication was excellent.

Thanks,
Debra
