[Web4lib] Anyone Using Google Wave?

I suggested it to my workgroup (9 people in 5 geographically separated
locations) but nobody wanted to try it.
I also tried it with several groups of friends. We played with it for a
while, some people figured out how to do very cool things with it, but then
everybody seemed to loose interest.
My sense was that it's a tool with a lot of potential, but it wasn't quite
ready for prime time yet. Google should have rolled it out to teams who
wanted to use it for a project, not to individuals.
I found it especially irritating that the stuff I was actually working on
all seemed me be in the lower right hand corner of the screen - if I could
have resized and repositioned that window, it would have made a huge
difference in usability for me. Interestingly enough, the new SecondLife
viewer software does the same thing, so perhaps it's a current "in thing"
for visual interface designers.
Good luck with your presentation! What are you using Wave for? Did you have
more success than we did?
