We looked at Userful once. It is a Linux and Open Office solution that I could not sell management on because Open Office is not the same as Microsoft Office.

Subject: [Web4lib] Thin client computer lab

A donor in town is interested in funding a small computer lab for our
small public library.

Funds will be limited, both initially & down the road, so I'm
considering going the thin client route.

Thoughts on thin clients as a solution?

Rough cost estimate to set up an 8-10 client lab?

Experiences with Pano Logic, MiniFrame, NComputing, Userful, or other vendors?

The clients would be used mainly for classes (internet skills, MS office, etc.).

Grateful for any advice!

Best,
