Hi, Michelle -
If I might offer a thought: when my place of work got LibGuides, our initial
instinct was to create guides that "behaved" like our old guides, which were
long lists of databases, websites, and sometimes reference books. We ended
up with tabs that said things like Databases, Websites, Books. I would
suggest expanding that a bit - I suspect students don't necessarily think in
terms of format. It might be more helpful to organize by topic areas. Here's
an example:

I would also second Jennifer's comment - our 'Citing Sources' guide is one
of the most viewed here!
Also, it seems your place of work also has Blackboard - keep in mind that
with the API, you (or faculty members) can put content boxes from LibGuides
