[Web4lib] AdRotator ideas and or examples

While we are using our own Flash-based banner on the home page for
OCLC.org, we recently started using this one on the home page of the
newly redesigned OCLC Research area at http://www.oclc.org/research/:

Banner Rotator
http://activeden.net/item/banner-rotator-with-auto-delay-time/22243

Purchased from ActiveDen (formerly FlashDen).
$15 and is XML ready and has nice UI confirmation options.

We use this one here http://www.barelyfitz.com/projects/slideshow/
You can see it in action at www.livermore.lib.ca.us .
The one caveat, it does not run off of xml, so every time you want to
change an ad or slide as I think of them, you must go in and do it by
hand. I have not been able to find a simple solution to make slides
appear or expire by date, but that might be because I have no real
coding background.

I'm looking for some AdRotator examples that I could use or modify for
our webpage. I looking for something that I can use to showcase our
major events here at our library. Any examples or ideas will be greatly

appreciated.

Thanks,
Lee Martin
