[Web4lib] Catalogue records for online resources (Naxos Music Library)

We have found having catalogue records for individual online resources has been very effective in promoting online products and getting them used. We have all our Overdrive and netLibrary titles in our catalogue. We have catalogued all our databases (e.g. Britannica, World Book, OneFile etc.).

One huge frustration has been getting catalogue records for the titles in our Naxos Music Library product.
Naxos is a great product (now has more than 19,000 streaming CDs).
Consistently one of our top online products.

The frustration is that we have less than 5,000 vendor supplied catalogue records.
Naxos is adding 500 CDs per month, the situation gets worse every month.
Naxos is using OCLC to create catalogue records - it is not getting done.

As much as I like the Naxos product, 25% coverage of titles is an issue.

Questions:

Do other Naxos Library users share this frustration?

Have any other Naxos Library users come up with a solution?

Is it unreasonable to expect vendors to provide catalogue records for the contents of their services?

I have asked Naxos if they can export a file of their holdings, could we convert it to MARC (hugely file format dependent of course)?

Specific
example of a problem:

Naxos has recently added the Trust Kill label to their offerings. There are 34 Trust Kill CDs in Naxos - they are hardcore metal and thrash albums. NO ONE would ever think to look within Naxos (known largely as a classical music source) for these CDs.

We could catalogue these 34 (but that would still leave 14,000 to do).
We will create a one off page of the Trust Kill CDs, with links into Naxos -- but that is really a kludge.
