[Web4lib] Managing Kindles

We've recently acquired a Kindle and I'm wondering how libraries are 
managing the content.  We purchased our Kindle with a state credit card. 
  The Kindle came with the credit card number installed in the Kindle in 
order to order books.  After purchasing a few titles, I can get Amazon 
to remove the credit card, or disable to account, but how are other 
libraries handling the purchase of new books?  Are users able to 
purchase their own content for the Kindle, if it has been borrowed from 
the library?  How is user content managed?

Do you catalog the Kindle titles that you've purchased?

I'd would appreciate advice or experiences with Kindles that you can share.
