Interesting insight I thought the list would enjoy:
Librarians Blogging and the Birth of Library 2.0
http://rohitbhargava.typepad.com/weblog/2007/07/i-believe-in-th.html
Spot on in parts (Stumbleupon / social media changing search),
'spot off' in others (Mahalo is reinventing how search works?), but
very interesting nonetheless.
One assumption here is that librarian 2.0's (like Google) are
organizing all the world's information - amateur blogs, social
media ramblings, forum postings, books and offline media. But is
there a value in the content produced by every Jane and John? Not
sure about that.
Great list of links in the post above, too.
