Knowing the cost of bandwidth in Nigeria I will keep this short. On a  
MacArthur Grant I was in Nigeria to assist some of your peers  
embarking on similar projects. I am sure the cost of telephone call  
would beat any advice you would get using this medium -although you  
did come to the right place. :-).

During my visit we spent time among others at the University of Jos  
(the only one who has responded with willingness to speak with you  
thus far.) and we worked with S. A. Akintunde in the Systems Office.
