Well, that's an important factor.  But don't forget that this is
_elapsed_ time, not worker time.  Given the right kit, there's no
reason why a digitiser should start ten LPs going one after the other
(allowing a generous two minutes each) then return to them in order to
turn them over.  Bingo, ten-fold improvement in throughput.

Just a thought.
