The UCLA Library has initiated recruitment for two Health & Life
Sciences Librarian positions in the Research, Instruction and
Collection Services (RICS) Division of the Louise M. Darling
Biomedical
Library.
Applications and nominations are being actively sought for these two
positions -- the first consideration date is June 16, 2006;
applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
The Louise M. Darling Biomedical Library at UCLA seeks energetic,
creative, outgoing, collaborative, and forward thinking individuals
for
two positions as Health and Life Sciences Librarians in the Research,
Instruction and CollectionServices (RICS) division. The RICS Division
follows a subject liaison model in which librarians are responsible
for
the collection development, research consultation, instruction, and
outreach to faculty, staff, and students in his/her assigned subject
liaison area.
Salary and appointment level based on experience and qualifications--
Assistant Librarian Rank ($39,000 – $43,860)
Associate Librarian Rank ($43,860 – $65,448)
