[Web4lib] Archiving audio using Fotoware or other?

Hello,

I am working in the Clare County Libraries, Ireland, while on sabbatical and I
am investigating the possibility of adding audio files of traditional music to the website. Currently the libray uses FotoWare to add archived images

http://foto.clarelibrary.ie/fotoweb/Grid.fwx?archiveId=5000

We would like to use this software and same format (thumbnails with data) to
offer access to archived audio files. We've been unable so far to figure out how to link the image box to an audio file. The audio can either be streamed, downloaded or both, the main thing is to get them up on the website organized in a similar fashion to the images.

I thought this would simply be directing the request to a database, but it
hasn't worked so far.

Any ideas on how we might make this work? Or recommendations for other software
that might work better?

Thanks in advance for your advice. My apologies if this message appears twice due to a problem with my email.
