When you say "connect to it remotely", do you mean that you have the LCD 
connected to a dedicated computer? If so, what platform (Mac, PC, Linux, 
etc.)?

While I can certainly offer some suggestions in terms of software 
solutions, someone is still going to have to make the content. Possibly 
not full-time, but it depends... How much content? How often do you want 
to update it?
