[WEB4LIB] Apache config question

Talking about apache server configuration, I recently installed one
here on a linux box, but it only accepts urls that ends with a /

     http://myserver.indiana.edu/thisworks/
 
works, while
 
     http://myserver.indiana.edu/thisdoesnotwork

doesn't work.

Any idea what I should do?
