[Web4lib] Local History Database

Good morning everyone!
 
I am creating a local history portion of our website and am looking for an open source PHP/MySQL solution for creating a database searchable by title, subject, year, etc. and also able to show related entries.  I have limited experience with PHP so I'm kind of looking for an "out of the box" solution that is easily customizable.  
 
Any suggestions?
