Oklahoma State University Libraries has created a new position -- Head
of Digital Initiatives -- that you may be interested in.  You can find

"... provide leadership and work collaboratively with library and campus
departments to plan, develop, and support access to electronic reference
resources. The position works collaboratively with Library departments
to develop digital solutions for creating and managing resources that
provide content for research, teaching and outreach efforts for OSU
Library users. The department supports web-based scholarly publishing
initiatives, coordinating efforts with University faculty and staff.
Provides information training and support to improve the overall
knowledge of web-based technologies known by the library faculty and
staff and keeps aware of new standards, technologies, and applications
and adopts them for library use as appropriate."
