favicon in Personal Toolbar Folder

I recently added a favicon to my libraries site.  It appears in the
address bar, and on the tab in Foxfire.  It does not;  however, show
up in the bookmarks, or in the personal toolbar folder.

Here is the line of code that I added:

<link rel="Shortcut Icon" type="image/x-icon"
href="http://cass.lib.mi.us/favicon.ico" />

Any help would be appreciated.
