Content Management Systems

I sent this out last week but did not receive any responses.

 I was just doing a set of presentations today with our college
webmaster.  The college is moving to using Microsoft's .NET
Content management system some time next year.  It sounds really good
from what he told me.  Is anyone using it? Is it better than using
Dreamweaver MX with templates?
