A question about what students faculty are really using

I  recently came across a presentation by Loran Dempsey who quoted Dr John
J Regazzi story of surveying scientists and academic librarians to see what
each said were the "top scientific and medical search resources that they
use or are aware of.  The difference is startling"

Has anyone surveyed staff and librarians to see how this shapes up on your
campus?
We spend $$$$$$$$$$ on electronic resources, who is really using them in
2004.
I would like to see any surveys people have done on this topic.
