knowing how to develop an effective site is crucial. The ARL/OLMS Online
Lyceum course, Designing for the Web, focuses on goal-directed design to
provide you with an overview of basic Web design principles, usability
issues, and key questions to ask when designing online.
Designing for the Web brings together high-quality content and the
expertise of experienced facilitators to offer an interactive distance
learning experience. In this course you will learn with your fellow
participants how to critically analyze audience needs, identify key
issues related to Web aesthetics, and focus on content & organization
design principles. Prior Web experience is not required.
