Bono Copyright Extension Upheld

The Supreme Court has ruled 7-2 in favor of the Sonny Bono Copyright
Term Extension Act in Eldred v. Ashcroft.  The full story may be found

While not as well-known as cases involving the DMCA, those of us who put
historical materials online were gratified to see that the Supreme Court
took up the issue at all.
