Innovative is being particularly unhelpful and the Innovative IUG has not
helped much either. If there is someone who has successfully configured a
Windows 2000 DNS to accept wildcards to support either the Innovative or
EZproxy systems and would be willing to contact me off the list, I'd
appreciated it very much.

Glenn,

Try having your admins follow the instructions @

http://innovativeusers.org/list/archives/2002/msg02703.html

or

http://www.usefulutilities.com/support/cfg/windns.html
http://csdirect.iii.com/faq/wamproxyrewrite.shtml [requires csdirect login/password]
http://www.acmebw.com/askmrdns/archive.php?category=83&question=609

The O'Reilly book DNS on Windows 2000 also explains how to do this:
http://safari.oreilly.com/?XmlId=0-596-00230-0

Luckily we don't use Windows or Novell for DNS.

HTH,
David
