ARL/OLMS Online Lyceum Course
March 3-14, 2003
The Association of Research Libraries is pleased to offer the Online
Lyceum course "Motivation, Performance, & Commitment." This Online
Lyceum course examines motivation and its relation to performance and
commitment from an organizational systems perspective. Participants will
be provided with opportunities to examine current assumptions and
practices and make informed choices about new motivational strategies.
In this course you will learn to:
* Identify motivators & performance factors
* Design motivating jobs
* Select appropriate motivational strategies
* Build commitment
Target Audience
Anyone responsible for managing performance or making decisions about
recruitment, retention, appraisal, and reward processes will benefit
from this course.
