I believe I've missed the first part of this discussion, but for
free mailing list software there seem to be 2 main options these
days that I am aware of:
1. Mailman would be well worth looking at, although I would
recommend scalability tests for *really* large lists.
2. Majordomo is worth a look if Mailman doesn't scale.
Why pay more?
