netscape7 flash problem

does anyone know what I'm missing here? in a number of web pages on our 
website I need to refer to flash-movies that are stored on one of our 
lan-servers, the reference i've been using up till now looks like this: 

src="file://cdlaw01/opstart/fiscalnet.swf" 
(i.e. file://server_name/shared_directory/flash_movie.swf) 

it used to work in netscape version 4.x and IE, it still works in IE, but 
doesn't in netscape 7. it's definitely a problem with the syntax of the 
reference though I do not instantly find how to correct it, I've tried the 
incomplete-looking:

"src=//cdlaw01/opstart/fiscalnet.swf" 

(which is what homesite returned when I used the insert image function to 
select the file on the network-server), this also worked in IE but not in NS 
(at least not in NS 7).

any ideas?
