SCOUG is teaming up with the Association of Independent
Information Professionals for this year's 2002 Spring Workshop.
The program on Friday, April 19th offers a wealth of informative

Since SCOUG and AIIP are teaming this year, this also means you
have the opportunity to expand your traditional Friday experience by
registering for Thursday as well, to take advantage of free vendor

Thursday -  Factiva is offering both a morning and an
afternoon session, "Factiva Inside-Out Training."

The National Library of Medicine is offering two classes on
Thursday.  In the morning, "Making PubMed Work for You,"
and in the afternoon, "Introduction to Consumer Health
Resources at the National Library of Medicine:
MEDLINEplus, ClinicalTrials.gov, and the NLM gateway."

LexisNexis is providing seven different classes;
"Back to Basics," "Advanced Searching," "LexisNexis
at lexis.com and Legal Research for Non-Legal Researchers,"
"Identifying Corporate Intellectual Capital," "LexisNexis at
nexis.com," "LexisNexis Public Records," and "LexisNexis
Publishing Tools."

LexisNexis class sizes are limited to 15 people, so register
early.
