I too was using the free AVG product at home - but just a week after I
installed it, either PC Magazine or PC Week did a review of antivirus
software, including AVG, and slammed it severely, basically saying it
was
not worth the trouble of installing it (sorry, I can't be more specific
about where and when the article appeared - I read it, noted it and
moved
on). Anyway, it put the fear into me sufficiently that I moved to a paid
product.
